Nissan kicked off its biggest presence ever in the heart of American truck country: the world famous State Fair of Texas. Featuring a special showing of the all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD full-size pickup. Without the ability to give test drives, the next best solution was to put the fair goers through a day-in-the-life of a Titan to find out just how tough it is.
The “Titan Proving Grounds” provided truck fans the unique opportunity to take part in a series of interactive activities and experience the Titan XD in its natural setting. American Ninja Warriors were also invited to compete in the pro course for $20,000.
The event helped the Titan XD win the title of 2015 Truck of Texas while creating 37,700,000 social media impressions, 15,000 engagements via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and 779 Periscope stream views.
